About Dubai Frame

Dubai Frame is run by Dubai Municipality and stands inside Zabeel Park. The building is 150 metres tall and 95 metres wide, wrapped in gold-coloured stainless steel, and its proportions follow the golden ratio.

Inside, a multimedia gallery takes you back to Dubai’s fishing-village days, a glass lift carries you 48 floors up to the Sky Deck, and a second gallery shows how the city imagines itself in 2050.

From the Sky Deck, Old Dubai lies to the north and the towers of New Dubai to the south. Seeing both from one spot is the whole idea behind the building.

Part of the bridge floor is a luminous glass walkway. Step onto it and you’re looking straight down from 150 metres up.

Things to Know Before Visiting Dubai Frame

Arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your booked entry time.

The visit follows a set route: the Old Dubai Gallery first, then the Sky Deck, then the Future Dubai Gallery on the way down.

The lift climbs 48 floors to the Sky Deck in 75 seconds.

Augmented reality screens on the Sky Deck help you pick out the buildings you’re looking at.

You can stop for a coffee on the bridge, 150 metres above the ground.

Only handbags go up. Backpacks, shopping bags and strollers stay at Gate 4.
